Maguire Primrose

Primrose

This is the Maguire Primrose. The only place in the world that it grows is in Logan Canyon. Because of this little fellow Logan Canyon almost got closed to climbing in 1991. There is now a basic rule that we don’t bolt with 50’ of the Primrose nor are we supposed to bolt climbs in a densely vegetated area. More information is available in the Forrest Service message in the guidebook.

Also, please donate to the Access Fund so that they can keep areas like Logan Canyon Open to climbing.

Thanks.
